What tools should I use to get the best finish when painting my cabinets?

I remember that a spray would be better, but I'm not about to buy one for a specific use. So, should I use a roller, a foam roller, or just some good brushes? I will use a kitchen in white satin and primer bath latex and decorate to celebrate.

The single most important here is the temperature of the cabinets when you apply finish. Cabinets should be staying or slightly higher temperature (70-80 F).

This will help to exterminate for "smooth" and do not leave brush strokes or roller strokes.
